My story
My story begins long before I discovered the potter's wheel. For years, I searched for my place, exploring different paths and learning from every stage of life.
I had loved nature and animals since childhood, which led me to study at a veterinary high school. Later, after working in various places and even different professions, I remembered that I had always been drawn to trying out the potter's wheel...
I looked for a course and discovered a ceramics school... which I went on to complete. But life moved on; work took over, and ceramics took a back seat for a while. Eventually, I built a small workshop and slowly found my way back to the clay.
Then came a turning point—motherhood.
Everything changed.
For the first time, I realized I had the chance to choose a different direction and start something new.
The return wasn't easy. Several years had passed since my studies, and while I found that the clay hadn't forgotten me, my hands needed time to remember. There were many failed attempts, many imperfect pieces, and many moments when I wondered if I should have chosen a simpler craft.
Then, one day, it happened.
My hands and the clay fell into harmony once more.
A magical moment of total focus and calm. A moment when the mind goes quiet, leaving only the present.
Today, I create in a small workshop inside the old cottage where my beloved grandparents once lived. It is a place filled with memories, and perhaps that is one reason why creating here feels so natural.
Clay teaches me humility and the acceptance of imperfection—both in my work and in life.
For a long time, I believed that imperfections were mistakes. Gradually, I came to understand that small variations, irregularities, and the traces of the human hand are often what make an object truly beautiful. It is precisely these qualities that make it unique.
I believe that beauty is born not of perfection, but of authenticity and the human touch. Every piece I create carries the story of its making—the time spent crafting it and the hands that shaped it.
I love colors, playful combinations, and original details that give each piece its distinctive character. At the same time, I value quality craftsmanship, because I believe beautiful ceramics shouldn't just be admired—they should be used and become a part of everyday life.
From the initial shaping of the clay to the final glaze, I devote my time, attention, and care to every single piece.
Working with ceramics brings me joy. It allows me to combine creativity, tradition, and the pleasure of making things with my own hands.
And so, new stories continue to unfold in the cottage filled with childhood memories—stories hidden within the ceramics that travel from my workshop to their new homes.
